Bryony has been working hard on improving her writing skills at the library every day after work. She got a promotion to ‘Automated Spell Checker Checker!’
(level 2 in the journalism career)
With her promotion money Bryony bought herself a desk, computer and computer chair so that she could work from home instead of travelling all the way to the library every day.
She has been working at home a lot and hopes to get another promotion to tell Drake about. Hopefully he is impressed! She wants to finish her first book though before she takes her relationship with Drake a little further.
Bryony stayed up all night one night to finish her first fiction book ‘The Little Vampire.’ She is very happy with how it turned out and it is selling well with the children in Midnight Hollow. She started a new horror book called ‘Blood Trails’ for the older generation.
Later that day Bryony invited Drake out to the community pool. They had a good swim and splash together. Bryony got out and called Drake over. She leaned in for a kiss…. but Drake backed away.
“Sorry Bryony, I don’t think I’m ready for this quite yet.”
“What? Sorry. I mean, uh, I just got caught in your gaze… uh, sorry, please forgive me! I did not mean for that to happen! Umm… Sorry.”
“It’s fine, I get caught in your gaze too sometimes Bryony.”
It seemed that that cleared things up and their chemistry returned!
Everything was fine and back to normal between them, they flirted a little more and complimented each other more, held hands and they both knew the time was finally right.
Bryony took the first move and leaned in. They had their first kiss!
Days went by where Bryony and Drake met up for a couple hours each day to enjoy each other’s company. They felt that they really did love each other. So on Saturday Bryony invited Drake over to her house for the day.
Bryony decided that the time was right. They flirted and kissed for quite a while and it was time to make the move!
Bryony proposed! Luckily Drake was over the moon and couldn’t wait to start out a new life with Bryony!
That night they spent more time together and as the night went on, things heated up a little!

Ooops, not enough flirtin’ for a first kiss (at least the first time). Hehe. Glad they finally sealed the deal (in more ways than one). Hopefully, we’ll be seeing some little ones soon. I feel they could have some adorable babies. Wait, maybe I’m pushing too fast. But who am I kidding, we want babies. 😉
