Generation 1 – Chapter 9

Very early the next morning Bryony couldn’t sleep. She kept waking up and sitting at the end of her bed to think about things. Was this policewoman telling the truth about Taylor Lacken, An assassin wanting to kill her? Why don’t her parents know that he is an assassin? Why does Taylor want to kill her?

Several times during the night Bryony saw Drake lying awake on his side watching her. She told him to shut his eyes and get some sleep as he had work.

At around 4am when the sun starts rising Bryony finally gets up, she wakes Drake up and they go for a walk. They go for a short walk to the lake beach. As Drake goes into the toilets Bryony sits herself on a bench and can’t help thinking and worrying about the news she has received.

Drake comes out and sits next to her.

“Bryony, everything will be fine. Trust me, I’m here for you now, we are a married couple, here for each other. I’ll protect you.”

“No offence Drake but you have no muscles, look at you! How can you protect me? I bet this Taylor guy has super big muscles and is ready to pounce on his prey. His prey is me Drake, me! What if he wants to kill you too? I know we’re vampires, we have more strength but if he’s set out this goal to assassinate me it’s most likely that he’s prepared and gained some more strength by working out at the gym 24/7.”

“Bryony! I’ll go work out at the gym 24/7 then if you like!”

They both smile at each other and giggle a little because they both know this is unlikely as Drake works a lot.

“Not 24/7 Drake, you have work and you need time to see your little boy!”

“I know, I’ll go work out for a couple hours after work, maybe before work too, I won’t let you down Bryony.”

“Oh Drake, what about Dante? What if this Taylor guy finds us and he takes out Dante? He’s so little Drake!” Tears start streaming down Bryony’s face and they both stand up. The sand is soft and dry but the air is icy cold, they don’t care.

“Come here Bryony, sit with me, by the water, everything will be fine, trust me Bryony, I’ll make it ok.”

“Ok, as long as I don’t hear rumours of a new Taylor guy in town, I’ll be happy with you.”

About half an hour later Bryony and Drake return home to little baby Dante sleeping in his crib. They both get changed back into their pyjamas because they are comfy. It’s still only early morning and they don’t want to get ready quite yet.

Drake notices Bryony is looking upset again, he takes her in his arms and embraces her, pressing his soft lips against her cheekbone.

“Everything will be ok Bryony.” He whispers, knowing that she will be listening carefully and trusting him.

They both embrace and kiss and….

Later that day things go as usual. Bryony is still off on maternity leave so she tidies up the house more and looks after Dante. Drake heads off to work and when he gets home with his days earn they buy another chair for the kitchen table!

The next day things get a little better because it’s little Dante’s birthday!

Drake blows out the candles with Dante in his arms.

Dante is now a toddler!

They have a little celebration and eat cake together and feed some to Dante. Unfortunately Drake can’t stick around much longer to celebrate little Dante’s birthday because he has to go out to work!

Bryony finishes up cleaning the house and decides to take Dante for a walk to the toy store!

It’s snowing outside and the snow is getting deep so they both wrap up nice and cosy ready for a long walk! Dante giggles the whole way there! He enjoys going for walks with his mum!

When they arrive at the store it’s about 5pm, near closing time so Bryony takes Dante out the stroller and sits it aside. She carries Dante inside and he tries to reach for all the toys so Bryony sits Dante down next to another little toddler hoping that they will bond while Bryony picks some toys for him.

Dante, being a little sneak, crawls away into the roped off section where they ‘supposedly’ make the toys.

Bryony buys her little boy a dragon, horse, robot and a few other small, cheap toys. Hopefully this will keep Dante amused at home! He can sit downstairs while Bryony cleans up and he can play with them in his room while she works on her books.

Drake starts working out before work as he doesn’t start work until 3pm so he is building up his muscles, ready to take one anything or anyone who wants to harm his family.

A couple days pass by and Bryony wakes up during the night to be sick. One day, when she wakes up for the morning she discovers she is pregnant again!

Generation 1 – Chapter 8

Bryony and Drake are able to take their beautiful baby boy home straight away as all medical tests passed and both mother and baby are healthy!

“What shall we name him Drake?”

“Oh, I don’t know, hmm, how about Hunter or Terry?”

“Hmmm, I’m not sure about those names. I like Damien or Dante. Do you?”

“Damien is ok, I really like the name Dante.”

“Dante is a very nice name I think. He looks like a little Dante too. Do we have our name?”

“Dante it is then!”

The couple are really happy with their new baby boy, Dante. When they get home they sit Dante on their bed and check on him every so often while they finish decorating his new room.

Once it is finished they put Dante in his new crib! They are really pleased with how it turned out, even though it is quite a small room.

“I really love it Drake.”

“I love it too. Let’s leave Dante to rest, he’ll be really tired!”

“Come to think of it, I’m a little tired too. Will we call that a day?”

“I think so, you have given birth after all! I would expect you to be tired.”

They put baby Dante to sleep and kiss him goodnight then they go to bed themselves. It’s a peaceful night the first night and the first full day with a new baby in the house is relaxing and quiet.

Drake has to go out to work so Bryony does some housework while playing with Dante, changing his smelly nappy and feeding him. Bryony loves to have a little snuggle with her beautiful baby boy in-between doing the dirty laundry!

When Drake gets home from work he plants a kiss on Bryony’s cheek and heads upstairs to see his little man!

“Hi there little man, been a tough day at work today. Have you had fun with your mum today?”

Dante, of course, being one day old doesn’t reply but waves his arm with happiness as Drake plays about with him.

The next morning Drake and Bryony freshen themselves up and then go upstairs to see Dante.

“He’s such a little cutie so he is. Don’t you think?”

“We made an adorable little man Bryony.”

They both smile at each other then look at their gorgeous little boy in the crib.

“He looks a little bored don’t you think? Our little man is always lying in that crib. Why don’t we go pick a toy or two up from that Golden Ticket Toy Shop?”

“Oh Drake, of course! I forgot all about that toy shop! Do you want to stay here and play around with Dante while I go and pick something up for him? You haven’t gotten much time to spend with him since you’ve been at work.”

“Of course, I love spending time with my little man! See you later Bryony.”

Bryony kisses Drake and presses her lips on Dante’s soft forehead then heads out to the Golden Ticket Toy Shop!

Bryony walks in and gazes around at all the toys! She’ll be paying quite a few visits here! She looks around for something to suit little baby Dante then she spots something. A baby play mat! Bryony picks it up and takes it to the counter and buys it for just 100 simoleons.

“This is perfect!” Bryony whispers to herself as she walks out the toy shop on her way home. She can’t wait to see her little Dante play on the mat!

When she gets home she shows Drake and he loves it too so they place it in Dante’s room.
Drake scoops up Dante from his cot and puts him on the mat. Dante loves it!

Early the next morning a police woman is standing outside the house, looking around at the door and taking in her surroundings! Panic shoots through Bryony’s body and she doesn’t know what to do! She walks outside and approaches the policewoman casually, trying to show no sign of guilt as she has no idea what she’s done!

“Good morning, do you know anyone called Taylor Lacken?” Bryony is confused, she has never heard of this so called Taylor before!

“Taylor Lacken? I know just about everyone from town but I’ve never heard of a Taylor Lacken! I think you’ve got the wrong name officer.”

“Good. What’s your name then, may I ask?”

“Bryony, Bryony Mckendrick.”

“Bryony Anne Elizabeth Mckendrick?”

“I don’t go by the name of Bryony Anne Elizabeth Mckendrick anymore. I’m only Bryony Anne Mckendrick. How do you know me? Everyone knows me with one middle name, and that is Anne. There’s no Elizabeth as far as everyone knows.”

“I found you, at last!”

“What are you talking about officer? Are you some sort of detective? Who are you? Are you here to kidnap me? Sent by my parents? Who are you? Please leave!”

“No, Bryony, please do calm down. I’m here, moved to Midnight Hollow to protect you Bryony Anne. Here’s my number, call me if you have any hassle or if you need help. Ok?” The officer gives Bryony a little note with lots of numbers on it. It must be her phone number. Bryony takes the paper in her hand and folds it neatly, holding it in her palms.

“Why should I be careful? Why are you protecting me? Who is Taylor Lacken?”

“Taylor is a man, a man who your mother has sent out to search for you. Your mother wants you home. She doesn’t know where you live and she doesn’t know about Midnight Hollow but the night before you left, our agency overheard her conversation with your father to get someone to bring you home after two years. Taylor Lacken is the person who your parents sent out to try find you. He doesn’t know about Midnight Hollow either.”

“Then how do you know I live here? I told my mother where I was going!”

“My agency took your whole family during the night, we brainwashed them all, made them forget where you were. As far as your family know, you left for University and never returned. Apparently you went to Egypt.”

“What? How will this Taylor find me? Oh please, this has to be some kind of sick joke! Why would my mother want me home? Whatever, but please, tell me if there’s any danger anywhere. I believe you. Ok? My mother, wants me home, she’s the one who flung me out in the first place!”

“I know I know Bryony. She’s gone crazy because deep inside, she knows she loves you, you’re her daughter. She wants you back. Your mother wants you home but Taylor wants you dead.”

The officer walks off, Bryony calls after her but she’s too late. She stood to long in shock so with that, the officer is gone, zooming away in her police car.

November Flash Mob!

 

For those of you who are signed up to The Sims 3 website i come here for something you could do! For those of you who know about the sims 3 forums and/or post there, i recommend you check out November Flash Mob! Flash Mob is something that we people at the Gift Gathering – Thank You’s and Gifting Forum do every month to honor a member of the community! Each month two new hosts are chosen on a separate thread for hosting sign-ups. Flash Mob is a great way to get the whole community of simmer together to honor one member!

What Is Flash Mob?

~ Flash mob is where there are two hosts for one month and they secretly (through emails) decide on one member who has been kind, helpful to others, gifts a lot and it plain, darn nice around the forums to honor. Once the hosts have chosen a member to honor they set up their thread for that month. (this month being November Flash Mob) Once the thread is set up it is open for anyone in any part of the forums to come in and join in the fun!

~ Everyone who joins must have an email so that the hosts can let people know who the honoree is. BUT make sure you DO NOT TELL ANYONE who the honoree is! Keep it to yourself! Flash Mob has been a great success so far with a few downsides along the way but if you tell ANYBODY who the honoree is then you will ruin Flash Mob for everyone! So keep hush on the name! Make sure the honoree doesn’t suspect anything!

~ On the 8th of the month (current flash mob being 8th of November) at 8pm YOUR TIME you can post your gift on the flash mob thread! Everyone will be posting their gifts on the thread on the 8th! (a couple being a tiny bit late and posting afterwards too)

~ You can make gifts in game, being builds, recolours, patterns, poses, sims, pets, anything! But make sure that if you are making something that the honoree is ok with custom content or not. You can also send gifts to the honoree from their wishlist. Every flash mob honoree will have a wishlist.

~ If you have  created a gift before the 8th PLEASE keep it in your launcher! Meaning, DO NOT by ANY means, upload it to the exchange before the flash mob honoree has been announced on the thread for that month! Plus, DO NOT send wishlist gifts to the honoree before the 8th either. The honoree should have NO IDEA what has hit them on the 8th! So meaning, the honoree should not know that they are honoree until the 8th!

Now you are probably wondering what happen when the honoree wants to sign up for flash mob?

~ When the hosts decide who the honoree is they also decide on a decoy. The decoy is someone who will be the ‘fake honoree’ so that if the real honoree signs up for flash mob, the hosts will send an email telling them that the decoy (‘fake honoree’) is the honoree so that the actual honoree is making, or planning to send wishlist gifts to someone else. This is so that they do not suspect anything!

Generations 1 – Chapter 7

When Bryony and Drake wake up the next day they go out and get a pregnancy tester. Bryony does her pregnancy test and it’s positive! Bryony is over the moon because she now knows that Drake wants a family and is ready for the craziness that children will bring them!

“Drake look at this! Look at the pregnancy test! It’s positive! Drake I’m pregnant!” Bryony squeals out to Drake.

They share a big hug together and are so happy to have a new baby on the way!

Since Kara isn’t going to work quite yet Bryony gets dressed and cannot wait to tell her best friend the good news! She heads next door to Kara’s house.

“Oh hello Bryony! It’s great to see you again! What in the world are you wearing though?”

“These are maternity clothes Kara!” Kara looks shocked but there’s excitement in her facial expression.

“I’m pregnant!”

“Oh my goodness! Congratulations Bryony! Does Drake know? Is he happy about it too?”

“Of course he is! We are both over the moon!”

(I swear Kara doesn’t know she has a shower in her house!)

A couple days pass by where Bryony and Drake try to rack money out of the locals. Drake performs for tips around the street for a couple of hours before his skin starts to burn and Bryony writes loads in her new book so she can get it finished.

Drake got a phone call from the school asking him to entertain the children by playing his guitar. He took the opportunity and earned a couple hundred bucks! Bryony finished her drama novel ‘Love Bites and Kisses’ and it became a best seller! She got a couple hundred simoleons from that. Bryony then got asked to entertain the sick kids at the hospital by reading them one of her books. She took the opportunity and earned another couple hundred simoleons!

With the extra money Drake and Bryony moved their bedroom into the big room upstairs. They split what used to be their bedroom downstairs into two, one half for a living room and the other for a laundry room. They bought the washer and dryer and a few hampers for the laundry room, bathroom and bedroom. Now they could have clean clothes!

It’s an early Friday morning when Bryony is doing some laundry and her water breaks!

“Drake! Drake! Get through here! Call a cab!” Bryony yells in the middle of screaming pain.

“What’s wrong Bryony? I’ll call a cab, where are we going?”

“The hospital! Baby, giving birth! You are so stupid Drake! Call the damn cab!”

“Right ok Bryony, keep calm! Take deep breaths! The cab will be here soon!”

“How long is soon? Fifteen minutes? I can’t wait that long!”

“Don’t worry Bryony, he’ll be here in two minutes!”

“Better be!”

Bryony and Drake rush to the hospital. They arrive safely and the wait for the baby to be born begins.
Several hours of aching pain Bryony gives birth to a beautiful baby………..  boy!

Bryony and Drake are very happy with their new baby. They are ready to start raising a beautiful family!

Generation 1 – Chapter 6

Drake and Bryony get home from an exhausting, but awesome wedding party! Drake has moved into Bryony’s house with her and things heat up a little!

After woohooing they both go to sleep for their first night as a married couple! Bryony is so happy with the way her life in Midnight Hollow is turning out to be. Her legacy can start for real now!

The next day Bryony writes up more of her story (Love Bites & Kisses) while Drake practises his guitar skills! He decided to get a job as a musician at the theatre because he realized he’s quite good at the guitar!

Drake brought Bryony quite a lot of money from his old house by selling all the furniture and selling the house on to another family that already had furniture to move in with. They decide to get an extension on Bryony’s house. They have a little spare money so they decorate the front entrance hall a little and get very fancy stairs!

The upstairs hall is just the same as the downstairs hall (same wallpaper, flooring, and rug) with a plant at Bryony’s computer desk. The rooms upstairs aren’t filled yet because they have no money and no children yet.

For a few nights Bryony wakes up from her sleep. She feels sick an awful lot these days!

One night Drake wakes up because Bryony is making woozy noises as if she if feeling sick (which she is)
“Is everything ok Bryony? You look a little pale…”

“Oh haha, very funny Drake, I’m a vampire, of course I look pale!”

“No, I mean, you look paler than normal Bryony, you look sick”

“I feel sick Drake, I’ve been getting up for quite a few nights now. I don’t know what’s wrong with me!”

“I don’t know either, just don’t be sick ok? I’m sure it’s just a tummy bug.”

Drake lies back down in bed and Bryony snuggles into him. They drift off to sleep but a few hours later Bryony gets up again and this time has to dash to the bathroom! She throws up in the toilet.
Drake hears her and is worried so he walks into the bathroom and helps Bryony clean herself up.

“Bryony, you’re definitely ill, look, maybe you should take a few days off work. I don’t know why you’re throwing up all over the place like this!”

“I don’t know why either. What if I’m pregnant?”

Drake stares into Bryony’s eyes with a look of misbelieve in his eyes.

“You can’t be Bryony, when did….” Bryony cuts him off.

“After our wedding Drake, that’s when.”

They both fall silent and stare at each other for a few minutes.

“Well? Are you mad? It’s not my fault you know. We can do this, we just need a little more money and we’ll be sorted, I can handle a baby Drake. I’m sure you can too!”

“Yes, yes, it’s not morning yet, get some sleep ok? I’ve had lots of sleep, you’ve been up. You go back to bed.”

“What are you going to do?”

“Read a book, talk to friends on the computer. I don’t know! Just go to sleep Bryony!”

Bryony does has she is told. Drake reads her two books that have been published. He can’t help but feel proud because Bryony has done such a good job with her first two books.

The next morning when Bryony wakes up she finds the whole house has been cleaned! The floors swept, bed made, table wiped, toilet, sink and shower cleaned.

“Drake? Did you do all this?”

Drake comes plummeting down the stairs.

“Well who else would? If we’re going to have a baby I’ll have to get used to it won’t i? We have to share the jobs around the house. I can’t go out to work every day then come back to a messy house and screaming kids then leave you to everything can i? That would be unfair. I might as well start cleaning now. You’ll be busy with the kids and cooking, I’ll be earning money and cleaning he house. We can do this Bryony, we’re going to be great parents.”

“You said kids. Are we having more than one?”

“Well I was hoping to have a few… Is that ok with you?”

“Of course it is!”

The couple are grinning at each other. Drake holds Bryony in his arms and they share a soothing hug and a few kisses. Drake is the perfect husband!

Generation 1 – Chapter 5

A couple days pass by where Bryony and Drake plan out all the details for the wedding.
They decided that they should have the wedding around 1pm and to have it on a day that Kara isn’t working. Bryony can easily take a day off work and Drake isn’t employed yet. Kara finds it hard to get holidays, her shift hours are very strict and her boss sticks to his rules!

The couple write up a guest list and make invitations and now they are ready to be sent out!

Bryony bought herself a wedding dress and she could barely sleep the night before her wedding! In the morning she did her makeup and got ready for the wedding.

Bryony sees the mail lady outside her window. She goes out to grab the mail. She pays the bills and sees three parcels in the mail box! There are notes attached to them… Love notes! Bryony has been so caught up in this wedding stuff that she forgot all about the messages she sent to the guys on the online dating profiles! She quickly hops on her computer to apologise to the men and explain stuff then closes her account.

Bryony finishes getting ready and is all set to go! She gets the cake from the kitchen that one of the bakers she knows made for her. She carefully carried it out into the cab. When Bryony arrives at the wedding lot she takes the cake to the top of the building where the cake cutting will take place, leaving the box over it. She then stands at the front door to greet all her guests.

Once all the guests arrived Bryony and Drake talk a little and decide it’s time for them to step under the arch and get married!

Drake and Bryony tell everyone and they all sit down as the couple take their place under the arch.

They exchange rings as everyone watches, tears of happiness dribbling down their faces!

As there’s nobody to run the ceremony the guests all shout ‘you may now kiss the bride!’ once Bryony and Drake have exchanged their rings!

Bryony goes to talk to some of her guests. She talks to Kara for very long and they discuss the whole wedding and how good it’s turning out to be so far! They share a hug together just before Drake and Bryony go to cut the cake!

Drake and Bryony head to the rooftop. The mixologist (also the owner of the building) has taken the box off the top and the cake is ready to be cut! Bryony cuts the cake with Drake right by her side.

They now, happily married couple eat cake together at a table and talk about the great day they have had!

Drake and Bryony are now ready to start out a new life together!

Generation 1 – Chapter 4

Bryony’s books are doing quite well. The Little Vampire fiction book is doing ok, but this was her first book so it’s not going to be the best. Her horror book, Blood Trails is a hit! She earns quite a lot from this one and this has helped her write her next book! She is currently working on a drama novel called ‘Love Bites and Kisses’ which she is quite proud of so far!

Bryony has just been working a lot and selling books because she wants to get as much money as possible before her wedding! She is so excited and wants to write a romance novel next!

Bryony invites Drake over to her house. She hoped to get him moved in with her so they can have more time together to plan their wedding. Bryony is asking Drake about his day and how he was enjoying his TV show when the sun starts to burn through his vampire skin.

“Uh… sorry Bryony, I have to go now!”

Drake walks away, just like that, away home. Bryony follows him home, she really wants to discuss this wedding and make plans!

They discuss their wedding plans. Both of them have some really nice places where they could hold their wedding but none of them are quite what they want. Bryony and Drake are stuck for ideas. Bryony calls Kara over to Drake’s house since they are best friends, practically sisters, to discuss where they could have the wedding.

“There’s this new place opened up just up the road from us. I was walking by and looked at the notices. It was free to go in and have a wander about to look at it. It’s quite nice actually. Here, I’ll take you guys to see it!”

Kara calls a taxi cab and the three of them set off to the wedding hall! Kara hasn’t much time to spare before heading out to work so she took them and let them have a look around themselves.

“This looks promising! It’s really nice outside Kara!”

“I know, Bryony, Drake, I’m sorry but I must dash off! The mixologist is there all day every day so speak to her and see if she can do drinks for your wedding if you decide to have it here, bye now!”

“Ok, thank you Kara! Let’s go in Bryony, it looks really nice”

Bryony walks down the aisle and imagines herself in a lovely dress. She stands under the arch and imagines all her friends sitting in front of her as she marries the love of her life.

Bryony and Drake then go to speak to the mixologist to see if she would be able to make up drinks for the wedding.

“Hi there, are you the mixologist here?”

“Yes! That’s me! You want a drink? Planning on getting married? I currently own this building; I had it built here for young couples just like you to get married in!”

“Yes please, a drink would be lovely. Me and my fiancée are here looking around. My friend Kara Carter showed us this place. We are planning on getting married pretty soon! This is a gorgeous place to get married in!”

“Oh, yes indeed! You are my first customers! I just opened this place up a few days ago so there has been no one coming in for weddings quite yet! I’m so happy! Thank you for stopping by. It will cost you around $200 or $300, depending on how many guests you are wanting. Also, you can put together an outfit for me to match the whole theme of the wedding and any extra decorations you would like you can pay for those too to be added for your wedding. I’m doing this extra decorations thing because I need to earn a lot of money at first to keep this place open. It’s ok if you don’t want extra decorations; I’ll earn money as more couples come to get married. Also tell your friends about my place!”

“I sure will! It’s really nice and I don’t think I’ll be needing any other extra decorations but I’ll give you extra once the day is over depending on how much fun I have! Now I’ll have to go take a look at what’s upstairs!”

“Oh, upstairs is where the cake cutting usually takes place once the couple are married. Outside that door just across from here is the outside dining. Also, upstairs is a karaoke and dance floor.

“Thank you very much! I’ll go have a look around with my fiancée now!”

Bryony and Drake have a look around and make the decision. Their wedding will be held here!
